Carboguard

CO₂ Purification System for Bottling Plants

What is Carboguard?

Carboguard is an advanced multi-stage CO₂ vapour polishing filtration system specifically engineered for the beverage industry. This state-of-the-art system provides unparalleled protection against impurities in CO₂, which can be harmful to consumers and cause off tastes and odours in your beverages.

Designed for bottling plants and breweries, the Carboguard system is a cost-effective way to protect the reputation of your business while ensuring the highest quality beverages reach your customers.

Industry Applications:

Carboguard systems are used across the beverage industry by:

How it Works:

The Carboguard system utilizes molecular adsorption technology that polishes potential impurities from beverage-grade Carbon Dioxide by creating a permanent bond between the impurity and the filtermedia. This is achieved through the adhesion of atoms, ions, or molecules from the gas to the mediasurface, creating a film that cannot be reversed.

Each stage of the 5-stage multi-barrier system serves a specific purpose:

1. Pre-Filtration Stage

Removes particulates and aerosols

2. Primary Adsorption Stage

Captures primary chemical contaminants

3. Secondary Adsorption Stage

Targets specific contaminants including COS

4. Tertiary Adsorption Stage

Final polishing for trace contaminants

5. Post-Filtration Stage

Ensures no media carry-over

6. Microbiological Cross-Contamination Protection

In breweries or other sources where this is deemed a risk

An optional 6th stage provides protection against microbiological cross-contamination in breweries orother sources where this is deemed a risk.

Why Choose Carboguard?

Carboguard is the preferred choice for CO₂ purification worldwide because:
